Today my mommy is taking me to get my haircut. We are going to Sheared Treasures to see the ladies there. When we get to the shop, I will start my haircut journey by walking into the shop.
Once inside we need to check in by giving our name to the friendly lady at the front desk. We will then wash our hands and sit in the waiting room until the stylist calls my name. While waiting in the waiting room I could read a book, color or play with toys.
When it is my turn my stylist will call my name, she will take me to her chair. The stylist will talk to me and my parents to find out what kind of haircut I would like.
We put on a fun animal cape so that my hair will not fall over me. The cape was like a blanket.
If you sit in the big girl chair at Sheared Treasures you get to choose between holding a toy or playing on an I-pad. I enjoyed playing on the I-pad, I got to play while I got my haircut.
Once I am in the chair my stylist will wet my hair. She will either use a spray bottle or she will take me to the shampoo bowl. We used a spray bottle today. She will brush my hair to make sure it is all wet.
Once my hair is wet, my stylist will section off the hair so that it is easier to cut. She often brushes my hair so that it doesn't tangle.
Then she will use special scissors to cut my hair. She will also brush it many times during the cut so that she knows it isn't tangled and is the length it is suppose to be.
Once my hair is finished being cut, my stylist will use a blow dryer to dry my hair so she can style it. She used a blow dryer and a brush so my hair doesn't tangle and will look very nice once it is dry.
Once my hair was dry she gave me a very pretty braid to style it. I really like my new haircut. I will get out of the chair now and go show off my new look to my mommy and daddy.

I chose a star magic wand. I had so much fun getting my haircut today! I can't wait to get my hair done again soon!
